The Advisory Board for Innovation & Transfer reports to CEFRIO’s Board of Directors to whom it submits recommendations for decision-making purposes.
The Advisory Board for Innovation & Transfer (ABIT) has served as CEFRIO’s critical and supportive friend since 1999. ABIT members are consulted on all issues related to CEFRIO’s mission. They submit recommendations and suggest courses of action they deem beneficial to the organization.
The Role of the Board
The Board serves as a critical and supportive friend of the organization and meets once a year. However, members are consulted on any matter that falls under their jurisdiction and whenever judged necessary by CEFRIO’s Directorate on an ad hoc basis throughout the year.
In their deliberations, members are expected to take into consideration the overall situation of Quebec and the world in terms of economic policies and innovation, as well as information and communication technologies. They are also expected to put forward any ideas, knowledge and courses of action that they deem relevant and beneficial to CEFRIO.
